The wedding and festive season is upon us and it is the time for
travel and celebration. I sit back and wonder where the days have
gone. I hope it is because I have been incredibly busy that they have
passed me by so quickly and not because I am yet another year older.
Either way I am still discovering the joys of life and I have decided
that if I am to live for another 40 adventurous years then there is
no life without copious amounts of the following ingredients: Green
tea, exercise and water, working smart, quality time with my family,
playtime with my friends, hugs and love and Gods blessings.
Not in that particular order or course.
Where better to help people than through the times in their lives
where memories are everything. If we can be there to ensure dreams
do come true then I hope that in a small way we have made a big difference.
It seems the Safari wedding is forever knocking on my door and who
can blame them for the call of the African bushveld is a hard one
to ignore. A recent wedding at Ezulwini Game lodge in the Balule Game
reserve for John & Nicole from the UK once again reiterated that
the South African bushveld holds a magic, a place where time does
indeed stand still and where better than with only the sounds of nature
to share vows and join lives.
These wedding are only made possible of course through the absolute
dedication of the professionals we work with that assist us in creating
fairytale settings in these magical environments.
Flowers are really foremost in my mind at the moment as I am creating
in my mind for not only my clients forthcoming weddings but my own.
The top ten flowers for weddings are Roses, Stephanotis, Tulips, Lilly
of the Valley, Hydrangea, Daisies, Peonies, Hyacinths, Orchids and
lilies.
There are no weddings without travel and it is the very roots of
Africa the substance that makes the land we live in so rich and diverse
and the people that fill it with mosaics of colour, creativity and
talent that allow us to invite and beckon those from afar to our land.
Top 10 destinations in South Africa include the Kruger National
Park, Cape Town, Winelands, Table Mountain, Sun City, Garden Route,
Mpumelanga and Drakensberg.
Top 10 luxury global destinations for honeymoons are Dubai, Maldives,
Mauritius, Seychelles, Thailand, South Africa and USA and top travel
destinations are New York, Toronto, Malaysia, Singapore, Sydney, Cape
Town, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Vienna and Rekyavik however top romantic
wedding destinations do not include South Africa, naming London, Venice,
India, New York, Hawaii, Mauritius, Scotland, Rome and France for
weddings.
This is just one reason it is so important we market weddings and
travel throughout the globe and invite people to experience what it
is that makes us all true Africans and keeps people returning time
and again.
For us local bride’s grooms and travellers we are fortunate
enough to have a ‘playground’ of options to choose from…look
no further than our seven websites for all your travel and wedding
choices!
